Where are all the sharp people in the USA?

Why does the reporter know more about Libya than a potential presidential candidate?
Is this really all that is out there? Where are all those sharp individuals that know up from down?

Seriously? What a string of awesome presidents we have had. I couldn't name them either off the top of my head but if I was going to a debate and planning to shut them down I could shut them down.
